Electrocute - CT4011 Creative skills Assessment 2
Week 1 - 3:
3D model of of case along with bunny ears
During this time i made a prototype 3D model of the 'Electrocute' phone case which followed though rough design that had been produced during the first few weeks. This basic design can be seen below:
This basic animation shows the basic shape and one of the first render animations that was done in the design process for this project. this was done so that the 3D model could be shown off in group discussions much easier, it helped to show off the full case.
Also during this time as a group we worked together to get our project goals set and get the project flow complete.
Week 4 - 6:
Between the 4th and 6th weeks as a group we worked on a series of smaller sections of the project, this included the first filming session, discussions on the script and style of video we wanted to make and i worked on finishing the design of the 3D phone case model.during this time i was the member of the team that went and borrowed any equipment that was needed for filming, i also dealt with the processing and distribution of the footage from the SD card to Linh.

As can be seen above these renders show that the phone case has the overall design finished, it has the ears added and all of the ngones have been removed from the model. this helps the model look smoother and overall be more professional
Also during this time i have created a pre-setup voice profile for my microphone's sound input. This is for the voice overs that need to be done in a bunny voice. The profile that i created can be seen below:
This shows that i just added a simple pitch shift along with a mix on both the master control and the pitch, making the audio changes less noticeable. this also included a small drop in overall volume as the higher pitch of the voice does not need to be as loud.
Week 7 - 9:
Between the 7th and 9th week as a group we continued our weekly in person meeting, where we discussed our progress on the project and what should be changed from the last weeks work. Along side this during this time i also worked on doing renders of the phone case that could be used within the advertisement video for this project and i did the first section of the voice over work that is used within the advertisement. The renders and voice recordings unedited can be seen below:
Week 10 - 12:
Between the 10th week and the 12th week as a group we completed the group filming sessions which allowed for the footage to be put together for the advertisement, along side this during this time i worked on the lasts of the voice over recordings that needed to be done as well as a walking cycle animation that was needed. other than those things i helped out with minor things that needed to be completed or added to make the final touches to the advertisement. the work completed during this time can be seen below:
